Evaluation of the Economy of Township Nedvědice

This bachelor thesis is in its theoretical part focused on functioning, economy and management of municipalities and on basic information about public contracts in the Czech Republic. In the analytical part, township Nedvědice is presented, it’s past and inhabitants, analysis of its economic activities and public contracts. Third part contains proposals from the area of public contracts focusing on reduction of expenses and administrative burden in future tenders.

The subject of the bachelor thesis is the proposal of rentable objects for small-size and middle-size businesses in Brno next to the Hněvkovského street in Brno-Komárov district. Proposal is solved on land as brownfield No. 1309. This time there is lot of economic activities moving on the outskirts of the city. This brings a number of problems and therefore is ideal solution to use brownfield, placed close to the city center. Main purpose was to create rentable spaces for different types of working sectors. Because of it objects has to be very flexible. On land is designed one big area, made by 3 production halls and one administrative building. Production halls are broken down into rentable cells, which can be arbitrarily combined to increase production. Administrative building is used to keep the whole area running. Also there are located free offices suitable for rent. Area is spread over an almost open space, so no wonder, that it is dominant feature in surrounding area. Simultaneously it respects surrounding development and does not make a disturbing impression.
Czech migration and integration in Ireland

The thesis deals with the nature and the causes of the Czech migration into Ireland. Globalization, the available information and communication technologies and in general more accessible forms of transportation allow millions of people to effectuate their migration plans. From the historical point of view, migration is not unknown to Czech people. The goal of the thesis is to investigate the form and type of Czech migration into Ireland and to understand the causes and reasons of this migration and, if possible, determine whether the Czechs are transmigrants. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the integration of Czech people into the Irish job market and other areas of the life of Irish society. To achieve this, both quantitative and qualitative methods are used. The thesis aims to bring a compact portrayal of migration and integration of the chosen sample of the Czech immigrants into Ireland. Additionally, the thesis elicits particular underlying factors of integration and migration. Economic activities of the Vietnamese minority in the Czech Republic

In my work I will focus on the economic activities of the Vietnamese minority in the Czech Republic. The first part of this thesis will be theoretical, in which I will analyze the conditions of long-term, permanent residence and citizenship gain for foreigners who want to legally reside in the Czech Republic. In the second part I will deal with the Vietnamese minority, which according to the Czech Statistical Office is the third most numerous minority living in the Czech Republic. Information on both parts of the work will be drawn from both internet and book sources. The aim of my bachelor thesis is to find out why the Vietnamese are choosing the Czech Republic, where the economic sectors are successful and how it affects the local market environment. At the same time I will outline the image of the criminal activity of this minority.

Funding of elementary music schools in Czech Republic

The aim of the thesis was to analyze the economic activities of selected elementary music schools, to evaluate the use of funds and to suggest other possibilities how to obtain the financial resources. In the theoretical part the system of elementary music schools funding is characterized. The practical part focuses on the financial analysis of two selected elementary music schools, namely the Vítězslav Novák's elementary music school and the elementary music school Na Popelce. This thesis deals with the analysis of revenues and expenses over the period of years 2009-2013. The bachelor's thesis recommends options to increase the amount of funds and to cut down the expenses of elementary music schools. The comparison method is used to compare economic activities of these two music elementary schools.
